In only their second year of musical development, newly established choir at Park Forest Elementary Creative Sciences & Arts Magnet School, under the leadership of Principal Rosalind Wright, plans to tour within the Baton Rouge area during this Christmas season. With the direction of Founder, Dominique Gibbs (Music Teacher), these Singing Pirates will sing their little hearts out for the public at each event. This is the only school choir touring on an elementary level! Beginning with the Holiday Concert Series in the Mall of Louisiana December 5th/6:00pm, then as invited guest at the parish wide East Baton Rouge Parish Schools “Student of the Year” awards ceremony December 10th/6:00pm, and finally Caroling in Park Forest where our students will go door to door within the Park Forest neighborhood, December 17th & 18th/5:45pm.
