Ralphie Parker only wants one thing for Christmas: a Red Ryder Air Rifle. A Christmas Story is the hilarious account of Ralphie’s quest to convince his parents, his teacher and Santa himself that this is the perfect gift.
The script is closely based on the classic 1983 movie, and captures a nostalgic holiday spirit of days gone by. You’ll see all the treasured moments from the motion picture including the school bully; the tongue on the flagpost; the temperamental furnace; the leg lamp; the pink bunny suit and more!
Showings for A Christmas Story
will be held at The Lynn Whitfield Theatre of Performing Arts at McKinley Middle at 1550 Eddie Robinson Sr. Drive.
Shows will be held at 9AM on December 5th and 6th EXCLUSIVELY for Elementary Schools to come see. Ticket prices are only 3 dollars per student! Hurry because these performances book up fast! For the general public shows will be held at 7PM on december 7th and 8th. Ticket prices are 10 dollars. They will be available for purchase at the door of the theatre at 6:30pm
