VISUAL ARTS:
GIVE FORM TO THE UNSEEN

Â
Throughout her career, Ms. Sharp has started and built multiple visual art programs in EBR schools and has served in a variety of teaching and leadership roles. She currently serves as a Visual Art Specialist for East Baton Rouge Parish Schools, supporting art educators and advocating for meaningful, high-quality visual arts experiences for students across the district.
Outside of her work in education, Ms. Sharp continues to work as a practicing artist, with a focus on painting and mixed-media art. She is also a part of multiple local and regional arts organizations and remains actively connected to the artistic community.
Ms. Sharp is passionate about the power of art to help students find their voice, develop confidence, and see themselves as creative individuals. She is also a proud mom of an EBR student and believes deeply in the importance of providing every student with meaningful opportunities to experience and create art.’
